Santa Claus Fund is now accepting family referrals for the 2024 calendar year. Only agencies that submit an Agency Referral and Wish List will receive an invitation. A referred family is not confirmed until you receive a invitation from our organization.
Santa Fund is implementing two new policies this year. Please read the following information carefully.
2024 New Policies:
| 1) Each child is allowed to request up to three (3) total gifts. They may also choose to spend their entire budget on only one or two gifts. |
| 2. Only one of their three gifts can be a toy or game. Educational games are the sole exception to this policy. |
| 3) A representative from your agency must attend a mandatory luncheon held by Santa Fund on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 12:00pm |
Requirements for Receiving Santa Fund Assistance
| – Children must be 18 years old or younger |
| – Children must live in Teton County, Wyoming |
| – Children must live with their parent(s) or guardian(s) |
| – Children and/or their families must require assistance based on need |
Families Could Qualify for Santa Fund Assistance if They:
| – Struggle to obtain basic necessities such as food, water, or clothing |
| – Experienced a recent loss of job(s) or income |
| – Were impacted by personal injury or loss, including house fires, car accidents, medical issues, or other emergencies |
| – Are experiencing homelessness or loss of shelter |
Agency Responsibilities
| – Ensure families understand the new 2024 policies when submitting wish lists. | – Fill out wish lists with parents/guardians and ensure they carefully follow instructions. |
| – Verify parent/guardian contact information prior to submitting wish lists. | – Deliver invitations (provided by Santa Fund) to referred families. |
| – Remind families that they must bring the invitation in order to pick up gifts. | – Ensure family is appropriately vetted and/or the agency personally knows their situation. |
| – Ensure the wish lists accompany the referral forms. | – Ensure the family is aware of the important dates listed below. |
| – Maintain a list of referred families your agency has referred this year. | – Ensure all referrals and wish lists are submitted in English. |
General Reminders
- Provide current phone numbers of parents/guardians and their full legal names as they appear on personal identification cards
- If your client is unable to retrieve gifts on the Pick-Up Day, they must make arrangements for someone else to pick up their gifts and provide that name to Santa Fund.
- Families are typically accepted unless a family was previously flagged due to past fraud or behavior.
- If your referral is flagged, you will be promptly notified.
Family Privacy
- Volunteer shoppers will not know the names of the families.
- If requested, Santa Fund can omit the child’s first name and only provide age and gender to shoppers.
- All information submitted to Santa Fund is confidential.

Santa Fund strongly recommends that agencies and parents/guardians submit their forms online.
Starting in 2026, Santa Fund will transition to accepting forms online only.
